Final Answer is the breed's No. 3 registration sire for 2011. He is popular with both registered and commercial operations for the same reasons, calving ease, early explosive growth and beautiful females. He is still producing high quality semen at the age of 12, which many of the breed's most famous bulls were unable to do.
He sires more body depth, muscle and real world fleshing ability than most calving ease sires. He also bends the growth curve to offer exceptional performance, maternal strength and carcass quality.
He ranks in the top 1% for $W, top 4% for CED and CEM, and top 10% for BW, WW, and YW.
His Pathfinder Sire, Sitz Traveler 8180 also sired AI bulls Sitz Alliance 6595 and S A V 8180 Traveler 004. 8180's dam, Sitz Everelda Entense 1137 sold for $32,000 as the top selling cow of the 1994 Sitz Sale, and later became the world record-selling cow at $210,000 in the 1999 Shady Brook Dispersal. She topped that at 14 years of age in the High Field Dispersal to Falcon Seaboard Ranches. She is the first cow in the breed to generate $3.5 million in progeny sales, which include a number of record selling individuals and four A.I. Sires at stud services.
