Black Grove Timely 519 is a powerful young sire. 519 has a phenomenal phenotype with tremendous muscle expression, depth of rib, and length. He is very athletic and has a scrotal circumference of 43 cm. On top of all of this he is docile and good-natured.

His donor dam, S H Lady 4465 5119, is also a powerful individual. She is a full sister to ABS sire and Pathfinder Ideal 7451. 7451 topped the first Jorgensen conversion test by posting an ADG of 4.06 and a 5 to 1 feed conversion on a 45 mega calorie ration. This donor is also from the Sinclair feed efficiency matriarch Ideal 4465 of 6807 4286.

The grandam of this bull is the legendary Ideal 4465 of 6807 4286. She has generated nearly $2.5 million in progeny sales to date.  This cow is famous for being the foundation of the first family in the Angus breed recognized for excelling in feed efficiency.  She is regarded as DHD Traveler 6807's greatest daughter. She sold for $45,000 as the all-time top selling female to sell at Jorgensen Ranches in 2003 and went on to sell one-half interest for $55,000 for a $110,000 valuation as a twelve year old in 2006 at the Sterling Hunter Dispersal.

519 has proven to be one of the most feed efficient calves we have raised. He weighed 2,095 lbs. at 26 months of age, being fed only 15 lbs. of feed per day, further validating the feed efficiency legend of his grandam, Ideal 4465.

His sire, Leachman Right Time has been one of the mainstream sires in the Angus breed for over a decade. His service to the beef industry was one of the most influential of any Angus bull in history. Right Time was the high-selling bull in the breed in the 1993 sale season bringing $160,000 from Pat Goggins for the Vermilion Ranch of Billings, Montana. Right Time has sired some of the highest valued females of the breed as they continue to be some of the most valuable and sought after in the world. In addition to the great females he sired, the bulls still sell well and are sought after in herds across America and the world. His females have the reputation of flawless udders and soundness throughout. The sale of Right Time semen and certificates exceeded over $2.3 million over his lifetime with the last two years of his life being his greatest.

519 has a birth weight of 75 lbs, and his adjusted 205 day weaning weight was 675 lbs.

We believe he is the complete package and have made him one of our Junior herd sires. We look forward to his progeny.
