ACF ESTELLA 0234 is a powerful young donor who represents another unique outcross donor who combines the carcass strength of JLB Exacto 416 with the power of Ahlgrens Estella 2758 ETE. She is the daughter of the Austrian sire Iberian Massive of Lovermere.
2758 is a famous second-generation Pathfinder dam who produced several prominent sires and sold half interest for $42,000 at 17 years of age to Anderson Circle and High field. She was subsequently flushed twice – one time being to JLB Exacto 416. 0234 is the only heifer from this flush. Unfortunately 2758 died at the age of eighteen (18).
At the time of her sale she was described by Keith Stevenson as the greatest cow and the most massive individual at Stevenson Angus Ranch, part of the largest registered Angus herd in the country. After 2758 died we sought out 0234 and bought her as a one-month-old calf.
ACF Estella 0234's sire, JLB Exacto 416, remains one of the most popular carcass sires in the breed. He was the winner of the first Angus Sire Alliance competition who now combines the second highest REA EPD in the breed with a Milk EPD among the top 3% of proven sires. He is a featured member of the ABS Global A.I. Stud whose service has become increasingly rare and valuable.
The quality of the udders of JLB Exacto daughters and the ability of his progeny to shed their hair quickly and adapt to the heat and humidity of the Southern climates has made JLB Exacto a bull whose genetics will have a positive long-term impact on the beef industry.
ACF Estella 0234, like her mother, is a powerful young donor. She has tremendous muscle expression. She is straight lined, long sided, structurally sound with an excellent udder.
0234 has already produced future donors out of SVF Bandolier for Black Grove and Rob Floyd in Texas. In addition she has produced a junior herd sire for Rabar Angus in Indiana out of the same flush.
0234 has been an excellent egg producer. She has been flushed to GAR Predestined, BR Midland and SVF Bandolier.
